Bloom Marketplace for Customers

Facilitating the local commerce

Bloom is a mobile application designed to help users discover and support local businesses within a 5-kilometer radius of their location. By providing a platform where users can easily access information about nearby shops and exclusive deals, Bloom Marketplace fosters stronger community connections and supports local economies.

Local businesses often struggle with visibility, while potential customers find it challenging to discover nearby shops. Bloom Marketplace try to address these issues by providing a location-based platform for discovering local commerce.

Through surveys and interviews, we learned that users want quick and easy access to local shops, and businesses need an effective platform for promotion.

We conducted extensive research to understand the needs of both users and local shop owners. This involved surveys, interviews, and usability testing with potential users.

Key insights included:

  • Users desire an easy and quick way to find local shops.
  • Local businesses want a platform to promote their services and offers effectively.
  • Both groups value personalized and relevant information over generic listings.

The application aims to be easy to use, with simple iconography understandable for all ages. All possible options that the user might require have been considered, both for searching and for viewing product data.

Limited visibility, high marketing costs, and difficulty in managing online sales channels are common issues that hinder growth. These obstacles make it hard for small businesses to compete with larger retailers and e-commerce giants.

    Through surveys and interviews, we learned that shop’s owners have to fight to big surfaces and the difficulty to access to their shops because they are located in the center of the town with difficult access to them by car.
